PS Thanks to all who emailed me stating that my HUGE EYEBALL PICTURE was freaking them out, I have since remedied the error. Now you can have NONE of my eyes staring at you while you read the blog. Haha!

About me

An almost daily blog of Carrie's ramblings that come from her baggage in life. Carrie lives with her disgustingly smart husband, amazing daughter bulldozer son and two Bengal cats in Colorado Springs. She is an avid reader and an obsessive television watcher. She loves to travel, sleep, snuggle and generally be friggin awesome. She suffers a smartphone addiction. She makes inane pop culture references. She hopes one day someone will give her a talk show where she talks about all the tv she watches, gossip she reads about on the internet, and life observations she has. Comments and followers make me blog more frequently, its a guilt thing.

About the Kidtens

I have two Bengal Cats-Bagheera and Willow. Willow is the girl and the spotted snow and Bagheera is the boy and the spotted dark. They are fixed so we can't breed them-my Pops is still mad at me for that. I would love to tell you about my breeder, but they were pretty horrible and apparently don't exist anymore. This could be because Bengals are illegal in Omaha (I live in Omaha's Sarpy County, which is not Omaha, it's an SID) or because they had 26 cats in a tiny corner of the basement stacked on top of each other.

Willow was actually our second choice in snows. We decided to get two because Bengals are notoriously active and we didn't want one to get lonely and eat our house while we were gone. Willow gets smarter every day. She recently figured out how to turn on the sinks, which bodes well with her love of water. She loves Seth more than anything, but has been known to cuddle with me too when I'm sad. She's a sweet girl. She also will NOT SHUT UP. If you wonder what a conversation with a cat is like, come chat with Willow. Willow is also known as Willow Bee, the Beezus, and Pretty Kitty.

Bagheera is your typical boycat. He sleeps with us most nights and we have worked out a "snacks for snuggles" barter system. He gives you love on his terms. Bagheera was born with a bad right back leg. The breeders told us that he broke it in the womb because there was too many kittens in the litter. The vet told us that he didn't know a thing about it until days later. So far he uses it like peg leg and it doesn't bother him at all. We talked to the vet about getting it fixed but the vet says the way he uses it, like a pirate, it wouldn't heal properly and he still would try to use it like he does. It doesn't bother me and it doesn't bother him so we are cool. The breeders told me they were going to put him down because they couldn't sell him and the price of the "surgery" would outweigh his "value". I practically snatched him and ran. They gave him to me for free. He has an amazing coat-show quality. I wonder if there is a cat show special olympics... Bagheera is also known as Baggy, Bags,Doots, Stinky Boy Kitty, and Buddy Bear.
